Roger Ryman, Head Brewer at St. Austell Brewery, formerly a member of Roseland and Charlestown Gig Clubs, and formerly a member of Truro Rugby Football Club*
Roger, a true gentleman, and a man who almost singlehandedly altered the image of St. Austell Brewery, passed away at a very tender age, just prior to his 53rd birthday, following a short battle with cancer.
Roger's funeral will be held on Monday 8th June. Unfortunately, because of these restricted times, those people wishing to pay their respects to Roger, and pass their love to the family he leaves behind, will be unable to do so by way of funeral attendance.
However, there will be the opportunity to offer their condolences through socially responsible means.
The funeral cortege will leave Roger's home in Tregony at around 1:10pm, driving down through the village and heading for St Austell Brewery for 2:00pm. The procession will then move down to Charlestown, and back to a family only service at the crematorium.
There will be gatherings at Tregony village, St. Austell Brewery and at Charlestown, with all attendees to adhere to social distancing guidelines, for anyone who wants to display their own personal Tribute©.
