As members will recall from previous communications, Truro RFC had suspended '100 Club' draws for the immediate time of CV uncertainty, with the promise that we would then hold a grand draw upon restart. That draw, which offered both a greater number of prize winners as well as higher prizes for all winners compared to any previous draw, was held on Thursday 1st October.
The prize winners were drawn in reverse order from smallest to largest, and all should now have received their cheques in the post. Those fortunate people were -
4 x £50 prize winners - Christine Barnicoat, Mike (Muscles) Richards, Roger Hawke and Roger Oakes
1 x £100 prize winner - Colin Waters
1 x £200 prize winner - Andy Matthews
1 x £500 prize winner - Sharon Tregenna
Congratulations from the TRFC Board to all winners, with a special mention for the top prize winner... well done Sharon.
Better luck next time for those who did not get their number drawn from the hat, but at least you were in it for a chance to win it.
For those who are not aware of the process, the '100 Club' is a monthly draw which costs members £4/month for a single entry per draw, but you can treble your chances for the bargain price of £10 per month.
Any surplus generated by running the '100 Club' is ring-fenced for specific identified projects for clubhouse, pitch-side or playing surface development. So, not only are you having a bit of fun and maybe winning some money, but you are also investing to help improve the member / supporter experience within the club.
In a normal year, without global pandemics, regular monthly prizes are for 1 x £100 top prize, 1 x £50 2nd prize, and 2 x £25 prizes. Also, in a normal year we hold two "super" draws when the top prize increases to £300, other prizes remaining unchanged.

For those people who are not currently members of the '100 Club' but wish to join, the standing order form is attached / available on the website via this link;

100 Club

Simply complete the form and return to Truro RFC via post to the club's registered address or scanning a copy and emailing to trurorugby@gmail.com and we can take care of the rest.
Congratulations to this month's prize winners, good luck for other members for future draws, and an advance welcome to any others who may wish to join this monthly draw (just get your forms completed and returned).
