Weekend Report

The Seniors went to Devon to play Paignton, where most of the action seemed to be in the first half with the home side scoring two tries to one, however the score board was hardly troubled with two further kicks to Paignton to end the game 24-10. This Saturday Truro have a chance to get back on track and welcome Pirates Amateurs with 3pm ko.

The colts had a weekend off and next Saturday they're away at Penzance Newlyn RFC.

Over in the Youth section the Under 16s had a cracking game against local rivals Perranporth. The boys thought by scoring a try with five minutes to go that they had the game sewn up, only for the Brewers to come back with a try themselves, however in the last play of the game Truro scored again to run out winners 26-24, in a fantastic thrilling match.

Not to be out done the U15 and U13 won convincingly in their home games against Penzance with a bucket load of tries.

Meanwhile down on the Nursery pitch at Penzance, the Under 14 were undone by some tough opposition, the U12 came 2nd best, with a depleated side due to some late withdrawls. However ehe U11s managed an epic draw running in 8 tries apiece.

Over at Penwith 3G the minis packed in to have their first runout of the season, with the Under 9's thoroughly enjoying their first "proper" tackling match. Next week we welcome Camborne Youth Section to the club for a feast of rugby.
