Truro 2nd 59 - Redruth Albany 31
A youthful Truro side left Redruth Albany with a hard-fought win. This was the first time this group of lads had ever played together, with 9 of the team being under 20, and for many, their first experience of men's rugby.
Oscar Elliot, playing his first competitive rugby match, scored 3 tries. George Conroy capped a Man of the Match display with 3 tries, Tybion getting 2 tries, and Ed Buckland getting on the score sheet with one.
Truro 2nd team go again in the Friday night league on 19th September at Newquay.
We are looking for players to come along and join our 2nd team. If you fancy dusting those boots off or have just fancy having a go at Rugby, we would love to hear from you.
