Truro, playing in tricky wet and windy conditions, started well with an excellent interception by Declan Mathews to secure the first try.
Dan Head then drove over the line for the 2nd try. Matt Symons scored Truro’s 3rd try just after halftime. Declan Mathews rounded up a fine afternoon with the 4th try. In the second half, Plymstock Oaks worked hard, scoring 2 tries in reply.
Mentions go to Liam Wilson, who got the Man of the Match award playing at nine, covering the role due to absence and injury, but capped a fine display by scoring all 4 conversions.
It was also fantastic to see Truro give debuts to two former Colts, Oli Hanson and Evan Adams.
