On Saturday 8th February, immediately after the England vs France 6-Nations game, we will be holding the 2025 Annual Spoofing Championship contest, the prize for the winner being a magnificant silver cup and cash. The game is open to all, no experience necessary - but please register your interest with Wendy so we can order the right number of pasties.
Spoof is a lively guessing game that often leads to laughter and surprises. Played with three or more participants, the goal is to guess the total number of coins held in all players' fists. Each player secretly places one to three coins in their right hand and then the players take turns guessing the total number of coins in play, with each guess being unique. The one who accurately predicts the total wins the round and goes onto the next stage. The remaining players continue until only one person, the loser, is left and is eliminated from the competition*. It’s a game of strategy, bluffing, and intuition mixed with a bit of drinking…
